I guess the above clip has clearly stated what's a love triangle.

And many a times, we were thinking if the outcome is a True Love or an Alternative?

some say, 

Either party that piece up the other part, is gonna be the one! 

They will be together. (Is a hug! Heart-shaped)

But, 

Some say,

iF, the one didn't manage to find the other piece is an alternative.

They will still be together, 

and..... generally, it define as a Love-triangle.
