I am fortunate to work with Tangs SINGAPORE for store closure to mark our respect for our founding father on March 29th, 2015

On March 26th, 2015 upon all live blog, News for knowing the public were queuing for paying the last respects for Mr Lee Kuan Yew, would take await for as long as 5hours, 8hours, 10hours or so....
I've decided to be in the queue on this day.
After having my whole workday of training in the office, I went straight home to remove my make-up, a quick refreshing shower for putting on dark apparel to join in the queue in Padang.
As soon as I was ready, I got myself to print a Thank You Note for memory of our founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
("The time now is almost 8pm, would I be there in time" I whispered as I hurried up with my belongings and also to bid the nearby florist shop for some fresh flowers and cabbed in.)

For an almost half past eight, I've reached Esplanade Singapore.
Then, as I've alighted, I held the fresh flowers in my hands firmly as I walked towards Padang.
The night seems quiet along the walk-way at Esplanade, indeed dark.
(I felt unusual as compared to the past years for an event that I've attended in esplanade as I recalled.)

Barricades were neatly lined, to direct the public to the Parliament House and here I am walking through and in, into the joining queue.
Aforesaid, I was told awaiting time would be four to five hours.

The night was warm with pulsating teasing breeze once in awhile, and I truly felt warmth by the smile of volunteering oneself for passing bottle and bottles of water to cool the temperature.
I say, This is HOME,
Chorus:
"This is Home, truly
Where I know i must be
Where my dreams wait for me
Where that river always flows
This is home, surely
As my senses tell me
This is where I won't be alone
For this is where I know it's home"

Apart, for those little thoughts and well taken care along in the queue,
for a near 3hours being stationary at the grass patch ground, the queue was finally returning to a slow moving pace and all of us in the queue were now a little closer towards State of Parliament House.
The time had past mid-night,
Fresh flowers on my hand seem dull-witted a little more from many exhaustions upon all of us.
(For the first time, I held it on hand for the longest for 4hrs)
Still then, not any person making any noise for the long await queue.
I am truly impressed.
I witnessed the unity, care and love of a nation that had leaded by Father Mr Lee Kuan Yew with integrity and faith.
Till then,
Finally reached the final queue, seeing tributes from all around my sight.
To my surprise,
at this wee hours, I was caught the eye by this charisma young volunteering guy,
an eye-contact communication for handling over, my almost witted flowers for Mr Lee, to him.
In return gesture, I lip-read a word of "Thank You!" to him for his warmth smile and helping hands.

Outside the parliament house,
people were queuing quietly to enter,
With a heavy heart in the Parliament House, I rested my belongings by my side and bowed my head to pay my last respects for Founding Father Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
"In Loving Memory of Founding Father, THANK YOU!"
